Thanks Jim,

I actually don't have the filter adapter yet.  I used an old 52 mm filter that I've had for over 30 years from back in my film SLR days.  I hold it up in front of the lens with one hand and press the shutter with the other.  You'd be surprised at how many photos I've got of my fingers and thumb!  I do plan on getting the adapter along with the Panasonic polarizer.  I'll be sure to post my findings when I do.
