Be aware of noisy/slow focus of the Sony 18-250

‚Äči have and like them both. Picked up the 18-135 used at a good price. My experience is the 16-50 is a little faster but in lower light conditions much faster. if i was had to buy a new 18-135, i personal would spring for the 18-250 for $150 more. So close in dimensions and weight.

If you need the range and don't mind the noisy and slow focus, the Sony 18-250 is a good vacation lens. Anyone considering the Sony should also consider the new Sigma 18-250.
