I've only had a chance in low light so far.

For what it's worth, I don't think PDAF is worth using in low light (e.g. my lounge with a 200 watt overhead light, 2-4 EV). It hunts a lot and manages less than one shot per second with continuous AF. It's just about adequate for stationary subjects -- it takes a while to settle, it will miss a few fleeting shots of people but get most. I imagine the upcoming 35/1.8 prime would help.

Other people seem to get basically satisfactory results shooting their kids running around the yard in daylight.

I'm afraid I don't know how it stacks up against other mirrorless, I'm from MFSLRworld.
