Thanks David. This is how it looked and this was the best of the bunch. A lot of dodging and burning and curves and sharpening. I was originally trying to take manual bracketing shots for an HDR scene pre Nex-7 software upgrade. It took me so long between shots that the clouds had moved on, so they would never register.

I find it hard to say or judge anything about the lens here. Obviously the picture you posted as out of camera isn't out of camera at all. By changing and extending the color profile over the original space the image will appear duller then it will be "out of camera". So you would have to clip it again.

Secondly your PP image (the first) is unnaturally over saturated. No lens will ever produce such images. I mean it is a nice image with a great composition, congratulations for that, but it has nothing to do with the lens or the actual scene, imho.

I understand where you are coming from, but the original post was "just saying goodbye" to the 16mm, here's one of my last shots, not a negative post saying here's a crap shot and thats all the lens will do. I only post the OOC shot as a request.
