Sigma 35mm f1.4 @ Paris - Salon de la photo
I went to the salon de la Photo in Paris (big photographic fair). Sigma had the new lens 35mm f1.4 to test. It is as expected, a very nice piece of lens: it feels solid and very well built. The AF speed isn't stellar, but "good enough" I suppose. As far as IQ is concerned, it seems fine (center looks sharp wide opened), I don't know about the corners.

We can see "onion slices" on bokeh highlights. I don't know if that's the case with canon or nikon...
The price tag seemed quite high (the guys on the stand were talking about €1000 + :'( ), but it still looks like a highly desirable lense.
Well, that's all folks. Just thoughts that'd be of any interest for some of you.
