Oh yikes. If you're color blind, doing this by eye is gonna be real tough!

So, buy one of these:


Read the instructions and play with it for a day or so taking test shots under different lighting conditions. It will teach you a lot about white balance.

Better still, in future you'll be able to take one or two calibration shots under the funky lighting at your next game and use those to set a good while balance for all of the shots you took under those lights.

I think the educational value of a WhiBal exceeds the cost by at least an order of magnitude. A very, very sound investment for anyone -- doubly so for someone who is color blind.
