You asked, so here goes (from a strictly intermediate amateur point of view)

The tight crop works on a few shots - #s 3, 8, 10 and to a certain extent the first.

The crop is too tight on a few -
#2, cutting off the bottom of the rotary
#6, cutting off the bottom of the wheels
#9, cutting off the top of the semaphore, if I was going that tight on that one I'd isolate even tighter on the signal light portion.

Of the variety of tones used in pp the ones with more pop win for me, especially #3.
I'm not a fan of the sepia treatment but that's more of personal artistic preference, the tones don't really look that bad.

Where's the shots of motive power ?
I'm a railfan and model train enthusiast as much as camera buff and for me it's all about the engines !
