But as far as the relative size goes between near and far objects go, a 50mm lens is still a 50mm lens so gives the same sort of feel. It's not just about the size of the image or how much the width you capture. Understand what I mean? With a wider angle lens you get a different look in the depth of the shot, like more of it, same with a longer lens which tends to flatten everything. Go to the extremes to notice the effect.
