Hi MeanGene2. Appreciate your reply. I have settled on, but not yet bought a tripod. Manfrotto 055CXPRO3, I want to try make sure I don't have to buy another after 4 cheapo's left me frustrated with lens droop. Handheld without anything to lean against is still a little blurry at 3-400mm @ 100 & f/5.6 but gets better @ 160ss. Should be much better with tripod + good ballhead. I really like the lens & have no regrets buying it. Thank's again & have a great weekend.
