Does a retina screen needs calibration?
I need a new laptop and think about the new 13inch macbook pro with the retina screen.
The windows screens need calibration for serious photowork. Does a retina screen need this too? I remember reading something about it, but can't find the link any more.

Yes it does. Any screen needs calibrating regardless of how much it cost. It also needs calibrating on a regular basis as well.
