Thanks. imo, bright daylight brings challenges of exposure range. This shot was shown for 2 reasons: sun in Vancouver is rare in November... and I felt the details were well rendered. I am also impressed with the AE accuracy. The large sensor and the better optics may work some magic. I will post some ELPH pics to compare.

I will post some mistakes I made... lowlight an others soon.

Performance: I am a bit confused here. When shooting with the optical finder, the response is par to a dslr, imo. With the LCD... not sure. It depends on many factors. Overall, though, I am happy with it. But I miss some of the dslr features, like a real optical viewfinder. I am not ready for the M, I guess.

The video is excellent, and the AF is quite fast tracking moving people. A + for this camera.
