Thanks for your answer.

Since I use no cannister to roll up the raw film, but rather pull out the film next to a slat the film is then exposed to ambient air.

However due to the fact that our house is not blessed with a lot of space even in the darkroom there is always a lot of stuff. So maybe I'll have to hijack the bathroom for a day and let the negatives dray there where there is almost no stuff and thus not much dust.

Anyway, I'll go to London again this January so I'll have another chance to bring brack a dust- and speck-free negative.
