D7K vs FZ150 - Squash Bug and Caterpillar

Thanks to Yuki for this week's thread!

My first thoughts comparing the two ways of shooting macro - the FZ150 is easier to focus and has a better working distance than the D7K with the Tamron 70-300 VC, at least for macro.  However, I had to use the pop-up flash on the D7K instead of my usual Yongnuo flash (simply didn't have it with me when I found the caterpillar) so I'm not going to compare image quality yet.

If someone can get a better ID for the first bug I'd appreciate it, I think it's some kind of squash bug, but I can't find one with that distinctive back ridge.

BTW, the black background in those shots is SOOC, a cool effect from using lots of flash on a subject.
