Independently from the money issue, which option would work better?
How would anybody know but yourself? What do you shoot? In what situations do your current lenses fall short?
Currently I only have the 12-50. Works very well for me in most situations. I do want the new Oly 17/1.8, though. I like the focal length, the low light ability and its smaller size (relative to the 12-50).
Thanks. The fast 25/1.4 (like your choice of 17/1.8) makes sense because the 12-50 opening is an annoying 3.5-6.3
The 12-35/2.8 is also faster than the 3.5-6.3.
My question should have been more clear: which one behaves technically better on the OMD, the 25mm or the 12-35?
You are right that I will have to decide if it is better for me to carry two lenses (12-50 and 25) instead of one (12-35).
