Re: Question: why people buy high end cameras for snapshots?

He said he's not raging but in the end he said "BS". There are people who want to pay single high end product than buying an entry level camera then after a while will buy again but an upgrade. Saves their money, saves time, and saves the craving for better model. Of course the high end model is within their budget.

I myself want to pay once on a high end model rather than step by step purchases. It saved me a lot of money. There was a time that I bought an entry model but then I realized I should have bought the high end to avoid double purchase.

I don't shoot much for a snap (landscape, event, flower are my favorites). But for snap shots only? Hmm maybe they have deep pockets too. I know some who have 5D Mark 3 with 70-200 2.8L and takes photos of her toys. Yes, yummy.
