Unfortunately, no. It's because for the fashion-conscious photographer, buying from a "brand name" is of primary importance, and that means CaNikon as far as they're concerned. It's a bit like how most fashion-conscious music listeners own an iPod instead of a Sony player, or how their computer will likely be either an Apple, or a Dell if they can't afford one, instead of say, Lenovo or... err, Sony again.

Wait, I think I just noticed a trend. Perhaps what Sony needs to increase their sales is a series fo products modeled after '80s electronic devices, something to make the hipsters go "oohhh, so vintage!".
