The D800 reveals camerashake or inprecise focusing faster than the D600 would, but know that this does not make it more prone to these effects. The eventual photograph looks exactly the same when viewed, with the 800 possibly outresolving the 600.

I would even say the higher weight of the 800 has a positive effect on possible shake.

When it is per pixel sharpnes you're after, the D800 is more demanding. If you want sparper photo's, the D800 it has an edge over the D600. I agree that there are only very few occasions where this edge translates back into the final image when shared though.
