People looking at people - ISO 800 at daytime with A99

Festival days are also people looking at each other, and photographers looking at them, hoping for some good captures. A lot of fun for all of us!

Here are some pictures taken at ISO 800 at daytime with the A99 and Sony G 70-200 mm f:2.8 zoom lens. This ISO setting works very well, with clean and detailled results. I don't think I have to go lower for action photography, except when tight crop is needed. Manual exposure (my favourite) and autofocus was Center spot/AF-C. Single frame advance, which aslo is my favourite, watching the moment instead of shooting bursts. Focus is very quick and spot on, and shutter lag is almost a non-issue. Very impressive! I am extremely pleased with the A99!

Scared by the A99 autofocus? Fast and reliable! 200 mm, 1/1000 sec at f:5.6

Look! Action everywhere! 200 mm, 1/500 sec at f:4

Sunglasses. 200 mm, 1/2000 sec at f:2.8

Fun for children of all ages. 135 mm, 1/750 sec at f:4

A good laught. 160 mm, 1/500 sec at f:4
