Interesting that you mention the DA* 200... it is a lens that doesn't get much mention here.

In fact when I bought the DA* 50-135, I was thinking about getting the 200 instead, but friends convinced me that I would get more versatility out of the zoom.

Can you post some of your DA* 200 shots? I haven't heard much of these experiencing SDM failures.
