The combination of LR4 and D600/800 seems to make HDR obsolete.

This is a hand held interior shot of a B-17 looking forward to the cockpit from the rear door. The ability to lift shadows and cut down highlights is really amazing. I don't see a reason for HDR, am I wrong?

I had to cut down the resolution of these pictures before DPreview would allow then to be uploaded to my gallery. The full sized images are more impressive.
