Hmm, interesting. You must use at least some chroma noise reduction, because there is none in your photos, which definitely is not the case with untouched RAW-files from the A77 at higher iso's. However, I used some in chroma NR in my sample too, and then pasted yours in. Can it be that the difference in grain size is only due to the fact that mine was processed in LR 3, versus LR 4 for your sample?

Btw, my photo was taken at iso 5000 and was not underexposed.
