So basically it is some brightness they could be different in, for the rest it is a design matter for what glasses the viewfinder is optimized. Whether it is a prism or mirror is independent of that.

Perhaps so but I think every pentamirror camera I've looked through gave a lower magnification image (smaller in appearance) than every pentaprism camera I compared with.
