What's your agenda?

barry,

let me first say that yes, I agree that QC for any product manufactured is important and I applaud your insistence on this aspect of manufacturing.

however, your continuous hijacking and posting in these forums isn't really doing what you set out to achieve.  Is that your real agenda?

If you really wanted to do Nikon users a service by having Nikon improve their QC, why don't you write a polite, cordial letter to Nikon?

I don't know how old you are or what you do for a living, but I believe you are of above-average intelligence and would be highly capable of writing a letter to Nikon indicating how poor YOUR experience of their products has been.

This way, you WILL do Nikon users a great service.  Harping on this and other forums won't get much traction. You can also help Pentax users by writing a similar letter and sending it to Pentax/Ricoh.

I wish you luck on your quest for the perfect DSLR.
