28/1.8 or 40/2.8

My take:

1. If you want a prime lens for available light photography in low light or for depth-of-field control and want a "normal" focal length: on a crop camera I strongly suggest you consider the 28/1.8.

2. If you want a prime lens for the compact size and don't mind a slightly longer focal length: I think the 40/2.8 is easily the best option right now.
