Start with the Moon
If you want to photo the moon up close you need a telescope and it must be tracking the subject.Anyone can take great pics of the Moon if they just follow simple instructions. 1. Don't expect too much to begin with. Afocal or eyepiece projection is needed for close up like this and just the camera body attached to the scope like you would to any lens and use Manual not Auto settings. Practice, practice practice... as that is the only way to learn.
