??? Apparently you didn't read the linked article : it didn't say that the APS-C DSLRs is dead, nor that it will die, at most that APSCs DSLRs will all get an EVF and merge with mirrorless APSCs in the future (like the Sony SLT series).

I did, but I did not agree. I think MILCs will take over. I don't think the Sony SLT will fare well or can be a way of the merging, as the mirror box is still there, making the camera large. Taking 30% of the light away does not sound too promising as competition heats up and every EV of light loss counts.
