What you're looking forward to the most with the A99

For me:

Auto ISO in M mode  #1 thing I'm looking forward to.  Now, pick a shutter speed you want, pick the F/Stop you desire, and let the camera worry about the ISO setting. And you can have lower and upper limits as well.

Better low light performance

Higher ISO in video mode

AF tracking

The front silent controller

Clean HDMI out

No cropping in video mode if you turn off IS

For us video shooters, this camera is a *HUGE* step forward.  Why?

Each PRIME lens you have effectively now has FOUR focal lengths in video mode.
Let's say the IS crop factor is 1.3x effective. The 24mm is 24mm with IS off, 32mm with IS on, 36mm with APS-C mode on (IS off) and 46mm with APS-C + IS.
So my 24mm is now a 24, 32, 36, 46mm prime in video mode, and 24/36mm (albeit reduced resolution) in stills mode.
Pretty handy IMO for framing. Just think what this means for the 24-70 Zeiss:
It's a 24-70, or 32-91, or 36-105, or 46-135mm. All in 1080p 60 frames per second.

Things I'll miss over just having the A77:

The reach at full resolution.

My wallet was fatter.

How about you?
