An alternate view on "trading up"
I've been enjoying my D90 and LX5 for well over 10,000 photos combined. I do continually read about the newer models and think of upgrading. However, I had this thought the other day.
Both my cameras do what I need and do it very well. AND each of them were purchases that I made at special point in my life; basically as I went into more of a retired life and began pursuing
photography more in earnest. So... they have become special turning point pieces of equipment for me; and for that reason alone... I've decided to stay with them and get to know them even more.. sort of as "old friends"
Maybe this will resonate with some of you also who salivate over what new out there nowadays..
