Small and light choice is

1) with tripod, Panasonic DMC-G5 (or GH2 on sale for better 16:9)+Panasonic 7-14.

2) without tripod, Olympus E-PL5 (or E-M5 if you have to have weather sealing and viewfinder)+Panasonic 7-14.

I'm probably going to go with the Nikon D600. It seems to have everything I need including video and will grow with me without spending 6K.
