So that 50 mm would be tough to manage. Though I do like the 50mm suggested by Catallaxy.

Plus the 35mm f1.8 DX has a much closer focusing distance than the 50mm AF-D.  Something else to consider if shooting indoors.  i find 50mm a bit too zoomed in and constricted when shooting on a DX sensor dSLR for general purposes, but it makes for a good close range portrait lens.
