canon mirrorless offers an LA-EA2 like adapter too

slightly off topic but I just noticed that canon mirrorless offers its own EOS-M adapter to use to adapt EOS lenses.

in the past I've been highly against these adapters, not only because it ruins the size advantage, but it was impractical as well. Back when I used m4/3 before I switched to NEX, I had the 4/3-m4/3 adapter called MMF-2. This adapter, along with canon's adapter & pretty much all other mirrorless adapters, are unable to exploit the full potential of its adapted lens due to the PDAF incompatibility (and on sensor PDAF is still rather limiting)

But thanks to the SLT technology, LA-EA2 can! This makes NEX the only mirrorless system capable of using DSLR/SLT lenses to its max potential. I think Sony will have the easiest way into merging both systems.
