Here are the results of Photozone's tests of the NEX lenses. Based on the Photozone reviews, it is safe to say the Sony lenses for their NEX system arethe poorest quality lenses of any interchangeable lens camera. Don't blame me, I'm just the messenger. Sony makes the lenses and Photozone did the reviews. So here they are. Read them and weep!.

Photozone optical ratings of Sony NEX lenses.

Sony E 16mm f/2.8 g gets 1 and one half stars out of five.

Sony E 30mm f/3.5 macro gets 1 and one half stars out of five, which is unbelievably bad for a prime macro lens!

Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS gets two stars out of five.

Sony E 50mm f/1.8 OSS, 2 and half stars,

Sony E 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS gets 1 and one half stars out of five

Photozone says of the 18-55 lens: "The quality is rather miserable at 18mm and if you want to achieve reasonably sharp results across the image field you should generally avoid large aperture settings at the other focal lengths as well. Another weakness is the high amount of lateral CAs at 18mm and 35mm...."

Who cares about arbitrary ratings and reviews? Surely what matter is the actual real world results? I have seen loads of examples of very high quality photos taken by NEX cameras with all the Sony E-mount lenses.
