Filters for the TL500, is it better to just buy the 52mm adapter and nice filters or ebay kits?

I was thinking I haven't used a hood yet in my photos, but I did use UV filters in my film days.

I heard for digicams, UV's are a waste but ND and CPL filters are really beneficial.

I am planning on the KiwiPhotos brand adapter unless their is something more recommended.  I'd like to leave it on all the time.

That said, should I buy a UV filter to just have a 'clear lens cap' or is there a better filter for all uses?  I still plan to use a lens cap if possible.  I'd imagine any 52mm cap works at that point.

I would like a wide-angle adapter, but I am confused as there seems to be so many of them.  What's the best one to go with for this?   Not looking for telephoto right now, I can sneaker zoom for my needs

Thanks my camera missed being delivered today and they don't come to the offices on Saturday   We are having a tropical storm pass by and this would have been fun to play with since I don't plan on going out.

Samsung TL500 (EX1)
