To answer your question directly: Does DxO have any plans to better leverage their core competency (excellence in lens correction transfer functions) to further reduce the cost of superb image quality for the masses?  It seems that a great deal could be accomplished if lens designers worked in conjunction with the software experts.   I'm extremely impressed by DxO and filmpack and use them both regularly.  I just want more. I want someone to make a $500 300mm prime that yields L quality images after correction (doesn't hurt to wish).  Also, why are there no lens correction modules for mirror lenses?  Is there some fundamental reason this cannot be done?
