Should I accept the Getty Images invite I received via Flickr?

Re: speak for your self please!

I've just had the getty Flickr invite, so thought "why the hell not!"

They'd chosen some of my most popular shots off Flickr, so I thought there was some quality control in process.

So I have spent two hours filling in their online forms, finding the orignal files and preparing them and uploading.

After doing so, I find I don't have model releases for the photos (and never will be able top get them, apart from maybe one shot!) so it's all a waste of time.

Yes, I should have read the small print more closely.

But it seemed to suggest there was more than just the royalty free model which obviously requires full releases... but pays little money. I was hoping to go rights managed, but there doesn't seem to be an option for that.

Or am I missing something? Has anyone made this Getty Flickr thing work and had any success?
