Which M43 lens is currently the sharpest?

Oly 75/1.8, Oly 60/2.8, or...?

Ok, I would say the Lumix 20mm f1.7 is the sharpest even at wide open. One thing you didn't mention is does it has to be sharpest at wide open or can be any aperture??!!

If 20 is the best lens on m43, then it's a sad, sad system.

It was most underwhelming when I used it.

Ok, it's sharp in the center, but not towards corners and it's got quite visible CA and completely lifeless rendering, a lens without any character.

Sad that you found a bad copy. As shown by all the test sites, the lens has excellent sharpness/micro-contrast (i.e., very lively rendering) in the center and corners alike. As to CA, you can sometimes see traces of LoCA though no more so than average and easily corrected by the defringe tool available in LR from version 4.1.
