ORFs always give more details, when NR is reduced.

The XZ-2 images show a bit more details than the XZ-1 - as expected with 12MP vs 10MP, but also a little more noise at ISO100 & 200.This is visible when you develop the RAWs in OV2 and switch NR off.
Only at 400+ can the new sensor show its strength.

But these are only my preliminary findings based on FN's RAW samples, which are a bit flawed:

1. Exposure is different between XZ-1 and XZ-2 by ~1 stop
2. F-stop 5.6 is very high and can cause a loss in sharpness
3. Vertical angle is different

The picture taken with the RX100 is also no exact comparison in my opinion, because it cuts off parts of the frame to fit its 3:2 format. In real life you'd have to zoom out and therefore lose some vertical resolution.

Still, it is good to see that XZ-2 is only about 1,5 stops behind RX100 in terms of noise. In most situations it will compensate this with its brighter lens and/or greater DOF.

I'm actually comparing the XZ-2 jpeg to the developed RAW in OV2 with Standard Noise Filter and everything else "as shot". Turning the NF off adds slightly more detail
