Re: 12-35mm f/2.8: What's the verdict?

I just returned from 2 entire months(I just retired) visiting western National Parks. I took thousands of images and saved approximately 700 on the computer. The 12-35 did just a wonderful job of taking sharp and lush images. It is the only m4/3s lens, IMHO, that compares favorably with my former high-end Canon L zooms. I found that I barely ever used my primes or my 9-18. Though the lens was expensive, it was the best investment in glass I've made since I sold all my Canon semi-pro gear. It was on my camera probably 60 percent of the time. When wildlife was close, it did an amazing job of capturing the scene. I give it my highest rating.
