I have 16mm, ultra wide converter than turns 16mm to 12mm and 18-55 kit lens.

Can you use the ultra wide converter on the 30mm? How about the 19mm?

  • 12mm -> ~18mm equivalency (16mm * 0.75)
  • 14.25mm -> ~22mm equivalency (19mm * 0.75)
  • 16mm -> ~24mm equivalency
  • 19mm -> ~28mm equivalency
  • 22.5mm -> ~35mm equivalency (30mm *0.75)
  • 30mm -> ~45mm equivalency

18mm, 24mm, 35mm, and 45mm, equivalency seems a better range than 18mm, 22mm, 24mm, and 28mm, equivalency.

Thank you

You cannot use the Sony UWA, bayonet-mounted and for the 16SEL2.8, on the Sigmas. But what you CAN do is use the excellent 45 gm. fish-eye or UW from Panasonic G. m43 camera lenses. It fits inside the Sigma 19's hood, 46mm filter threads! I use it often; mine is the fish-eye which works like a UW on the NEX. The quality is excellent.

Can you point us too or do you have any examples with this combination. Sigma 19mm and Panasonic wide and fisheye, ‚ÄčIs this the lens your are referencing to,
