I may go with a used or refurbed E-PL2 + 14-42 (cheap) and decide if i need better IQ and better low light then buying a prime (20??). And maybe a legacy prime later as a portrait lense. A m4/3 body + normal prime would be my creative camera when on bicycle tour like when i was using a Canon QL17 or Minolta Hi-Matic F. We will carry our Canon ELP 100 HS for snapshot.

You will want a pancake lens (17mm is cheap, about $175.00)  to make the E-pl2 thin enough to get in and out of a handlebar bag while you are riding so you can take one handed mobile shots.  It handles very much like a Minolta Hi-matic F (I still have one!) excpet you can shoot one handed.  Small, compact, competent, and cheap.   You can also get a handlebar mount which is fun for videos while riding!  They come out better than you would think.
