Every year @the same time there is a proliferation of these funguses.

They are a joy to behold and shoot.

I counted some 12 different species, but its hard to determine them. Amanita muscaria and Boletus Edulis are common enough, but the small ones are much more difficult to identify.

As you can see the 4/3  70-300mm is no slouch even for close ups! Love that lens and the E620.

For what I do, it is more than sufficient. Happy camper here.
