Hi! I own a Canon G12. In review, it seems to be a fine camera.
Im using AV mode to take raw pics.
But i found out that the pics after transfer to the computer turn out not as nice as the pics appear in the LCD screen. It has lots of noise and the color was not as colorful in the LCD screen.
Any idea why is it so?
Bear in mind that as suggested above, if you shoot jpegs the camera does adjustments for you,such as sharpening and noise reduction.
With RAW you heve to make such adjustments yourself in your image convertor,though I understand that your camera maker's processing software can carry out default adjustments to process the image "as shot" .if you wish..this then applies the camera settings you used at the time.
