Meanwhile in the real world I see numerous examples posted on this forum of fantastic photographs taken with cameras like the A57, A65, A77, A99, A900 etc  that show great detail and colour.

The only recurring problem is people who can't see the wood from the trees such as yourself who'd obviously rather base their judgement in 100% crops at ISO 6400 rather than look at actual photos.  It is quite simply just a p!ssing contest doing that when the differences such as they are only show up at such ludicrous viewing sizes and at such high ISO's.

Oh how foolish all these reviewers must be! They review cameras, despite the fact that any recent camera can take wonderful pictures and differences are minor. Who would read these reviews anyway?

Who reads reviews of new cars? Obviously, any new car can take you from A to B.

Who reads reviews of TVs? Any TV will show you a picture.

Who reads reviews of phones? Any phone can be used to make a phone call.

I can give you the answer: the fact that all products, no matter from what manufacturer, are usually very close in their capabilities is due to the fact that consumers are getting informed about these products before they buy them. That includes discussions such as those on this forum. They force the producer to stay competitive.
