Not sure there is an ultimate thought...

Which is the ultimate thinking about the sharpening for the DP2M files?

I think it varies a bit depending on what you want to do and what your tastes are.

I know many here like to turn off SPP sharpening altogether (-2.0 sharpening setting).  But after a few tests with my own images where I exported them unsharpened and then re-sharpened with other tools, compared with the plain output from SPP at sharpening level 0 I am fine just using SPP sharpening for anything that will appear on the web, even at 100%.

For printing I probably will still continue to output unsharpened, upsample to target DPI and then re-sharpen the image at printer resolution.
