Museum Opening Night with E-M5 + 25mm and 45mm lenses

About one month ago, I used the E-M5 for the first time for an evening low-light no-flash photo shoot at the opening of the new show at the MOMU (Antwerp Fashion Museum).

I used the 12-50mm kit lens and while I ended up with enough good shots, that was clearly just barely an adequate, and not the ideal combo.  I started a thread about that experience here :

Last week was a similar occasion, this time for the opening night of a triptych of three new shows in the Antwerp Photo Museum (FOMU).  The exhibitions include a Weegee retrospective, and new work by Gert Jochems and Lucie&Simon.  The common theme is one of intimacy and voyeurism.

This time, I shot the event again with the E-M5, but almost exclusively with fast primes: the PL 25mm F1.4 (FT version with adapter) and the µFT 45mm F1.8.  That worked more easily.

The resulting series (mix of colour and B&W) is here:

A few samples (I am not happy with the way DPR shows sizes - much larger versions are in the gallery and especially if you use the slideshow option) :

C&C is always welcome.

If there are any questions about that kind of work with those tools, please shoot.

I will try to answer in the next days.
