The hood might be a problem on that lens, but the grad shouldn't if you get it large enough. I almost never use a holder coming from field cameras. I hold the grad in my fingers and place it in front of the lens. Worked for me for many years. I'm not sure what I'd do with a holder.

Well on this particular lens, I think hand holding would still be challenge.  You'd have to hold it so far away from the front element, you'd probably have light coming in through the sides of the hood and reflecting back.  I think there will still need to be some kind of baffle needed, but I could be wrong.
