This morning was my first outing with my new DP2M and two fully charged batteries. I shoot raw only.

So I thought that I could probably do better than what the Sigmal says. So no chimping and also I turned off the lcd between groups of shots.

Well that didn't work. By end of morning I had two empty batteries and got almost exactly the same numbers of shots that Sigma predicted.

So, I need to get more batteries .Anyone using the Ricoh DB-65 batteries with the DP2M?

It would be nice if I could charged a battery in camera like I do with my Sony RX100 while another is being charged with the supplied charger.

Oh, btw, I really liked the DP2M. Simple, easy to use. I had a laugh when I first fired the camera and tried to zoom the lens.  Old habits are hard to get rid of.
