Hi Z,

Definately DUST spots/dirty translucent mirror...  As a newcomer I would caution you *NOT* to use the CANNED air sprays...  The compressed propellent gas is in liquid form inside the can and if you unforutnately use this can to spray and *SOME* of the propellent is sprayed onto to the sensor or mirror, you will have some serious streaking issues trying to get it cleaned...

Instead use a soft micro lens brush and a ROCKET blower (basically a rubber BULB) and a high speed nozzle on the other end...

If all else fails, please bring it into a camera store armed with the jpgs/phots you have and show the clerk the dust spots in question so that they are able to pinpoint it.  When you get the camera back, TAKE a picture on a light grey/white wall and see if the spots are still there...

I would hate to be in your shoes to have driven home from the store with a fully serviced camera only to find out later that the spots haven't been completely removed...
