Are SLR Magic lenses trustable?
Firstly, I have never really got to know anyone who uses SLR Magic lens or got to use one, but their wide apertures and cheap prices make them tempting. Are there any users who can tell me about its performance?
Secondly, do you think their upcoming 35mm f0.95 lens would be good for fuji X e1 body? I am thinking of waiting for that lens instead of getting fujis 35mm but I dont know if slr magic can be trusted. There arent many chances ti test their lens.
I've been using a lot this: http://www.amazon.com/SLR-Magic-E-mount-Series-Cameras/dp/B007Y05I6A/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1350470858&sr=8-3&keywords=slr+magic+35 with both sony nex 5 and 7. It's cheap and crazy 35mm 1.7 with shallow field of focus a blurry corners but nice to use with sony nexes peaking function and focus assist.
When it comes to the IQ here are a couple of examples: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pdksSqRixjE/Tq1MDIBaAFI/AAAAAAAADoc/G_mIPMT9CpI/s1600/DSC02190.jpg
My blog for more: http://reimanevalainen.blogspot.jp/ Nowadays I'm using sony's 50mm mostly though.
SLR Magic's new lenses look promising and I'm definitely going to check them out when they're released!
