I think it'll be a great street shooting lens in goods light. I tend to shoot the 12mm at f8 in good light with the manual focus ring set to five feet and vary the ISO to maintain adequate shutter speed. That's the kind of use this lens will be a blast for. You don't need the ultimate in optical quality for good street shooting but an ok manual focus lens should definitely get the job done. Paired with an EPL or EPM or GF style camera, it would look like a little toy camera, which can also be an advantage on the street sometimes. I wouldn't buy out to replace any given lens, but I'll definitely add it to my kit once it becomes available here. For the price, it's a no-lose proposition.
